CAJA FACILITATES BRAILLE TRAINING WORKSHOP TO FUTURE SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS

Evelyn B. Caja, Principal of the Center for Developmental Intervention Foundation, Inc. and a Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Teacher recipient in 2002 facilitated a one-day braille training workshop to a select group of Special Education majors last October 26 at the University of Santo Tomas. The workshop covered basic and advanced lessons on the use of Braille as a tactile writing system. Said workshop was part of NOTED’s commitment to “building teacher leaders”.
