NOTED members published in cited journals

Three Search for Outstanding Teachers (SOT) winners published a number of scientific articles in high-impact international academic journals.

Dr. Allan de Guzman (SOT 2011) contributed nine articles in the January to July 2015 issues of the Educational Gerontology Journal of Taylor and Francis, USA. Dr. De Guzman also contributed a book chapter in Springer’s collection titled Fast Forwarding Higher Education Institutions for Global Challenges. Two papers written by Dr. Graciano P. Yumul, Jr. (SOT 2001) and associates were published in the Journal of Asian Earth Sciences and Geophysical Journal International. Meanwhile Dr. Caesar Saloma (SOT 2004) contributed an article in Physica D: Non Linear Phenomena. All journals have been given impact factors by the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI), a renowned measure of the quality of an academic journal. Drs. De Guzman, Yumul and Saloma were recipients of the National Research Council of the Philippines Achievement Award.
