NOTED takes part in the League Of Corporate Foundations (LCF) Workshop on Quality Education
The Network of Outstanding Teachers and Educators (NOTED) participated in a workshop that is part of the annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Expo organized by the League of Corporate Foundations.. The one-day special event sought to encourage corporate foundations to align initiatives to promoting quality education. Around 28 corporate foundations attended the special event, which carried the theme "Collaborate, Sustain and Revolutionize for Quality Education (CSR) in the Public Schools." Workshop inputs were given by Dr. Jacinto Gavino of the Asian Institute of Management; John Siena, director of the National Educators Academy of the Philippines; Rina Lopez-Baustista, president and executive director of the Knowledge Channel Foundation; and Paulette Liu, head of HROD Primary Structures Corporation.. Highlight of the event was a workshop-output presentation of project initiatives of groups. NOTED members who were present during the event include Dr. Allan de Guzman, Dr. Manuel Dy, Jr., Dr. Mary Ann Serrano, Ms. Genersol Monton and former Education Secretary Dr. Fe Hidalgo.
