2015 National Teachers' Month: NOTED Short Filmmaking Contest


A documentary film is a nonfictional motion picture intended to document some aspect of reality, primary for the purposes of instruction or maintaining a historical record.

Mechanics:

  1. The documentary film making contest is open to high school and college students all over the Philippines. However, there must be one entry per school/college/university only.

  2. The film must adhere to the theme "The Filipino Teacher: Mirror of Heroism, Cradle of Excellence."

  3. The length of the film shall not exceed ten (10) minutes.

  4. The film may be edited using any software or any editing methods.

  5. Music used in any entry must be original. Otherwise, in using copyrighted music, participants must properly acknowledge the artist/music company/producer.

  6. Film entries must be accompanied with a duly accomplished entry form with a certification from the School Principal/Dean or College President that the film is the original work of their students. Deadline for submission of entries is on September 15, 2015.

  7. Three entries will be selected as winners nationwide. They will receive the following cash prizes during the awarding ceremonies:

  1. Film entries must be in any of the following format: mp4, mpeg, mov, vob, and avi. The film must be saved in a DVD or CD for submission to the national secretariat on or before September 15, 2015 to the address below:

  1. All entries will automatically become the official property of the MBFI - Network of Outstanding Teachers and Educators (NOTED).
