2015 National Teachers' Month: NOTED Essay Writing Contest
The 2015 NOTED Essay Writing Contest aims to provide a venue for high school and college students to express their views about teachers as heroes through a written composition to instill awareness of and drum up support for the National Teachers’ Month and World Teachers’ Day Celebration.
Mechanics
The Essay Contest is open to high school and college students.
The essay should revolve around the theme, “The Filipino Teacher: Mirror of Heroism, Cradle of Excellence”.
The essay shall be in English and limited to 500 words. It must reflect the contestant's own writing and original thinking on how much he honors and values his teachers.
All essays must be in:
Microsoft Word
Font : Arial
Font Size : 11
Spacing : Single space
Paper Size : Letter(8.5” X 11”) with margin on all sides
Ink : Black
All entries and accomplished entry forms must be emailed to noted2015ntm@gmail.com on or before August 20, 2015.
All essays will automatically become the official property of the MBFI - Network of Outstanding Teachers and Educators (NOTED).
The winners for each category shall be judged based on the following criteria:
The first, second and third place winners will be awarded based on the average scores computed by the judges. They shall be awarded on September 5, 2015 and will receive a certificate and a cash prize.
