NOTED takes an active role in Metrobank 2015 SOT Information Campaign

In support of the Metrobank Foundation’s commitment to interacting with educators in the field, the Network of Outstanding Teachers and Educators held a series of Information Campaign (ICs) on the 2015 Metrobank Foundation Search for Outstanding Teachers, which the foundation has been implementing for 31 years now, in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). The 2-hour Information Campaign (IC) program was conducted with the support and endorsement of the following Division Offices: Makati, Quezon City, and Pasig City.

In support of the Metrobank Foundation’s effort to disseminate information on the annual Search For Outstanding Teachers (SOT), we are pleased to inform you that the Network of Outstanding Teachers and Educators (NOTED) had successfully organized and conducted an Information Campaign for the Division of Makati last January 21, 2015, from 2:00 to 4:30 pm at the Audio-Visual Room of the Nemesio A. Yabut Elementary School.

Through the endorsement of the City Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Dominico C. Idanan and the persistent follow-up of DepEd Makati supervisors, a total of 29 public elementary teachers, 18 public elementary principals, 14 public secondary school teachers, 7 secondary school principals, 10 education program supervisors representing the six districts in Makati attended the information campaign.

The information campaign started with a video presentation on the Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos and was followed by an invocation led by Dr. Mary Ann C. Serrano, NOTED Vice President and 1999 SOT Awardee. The participants were gladly welcomed by the Dr. Maria Teresa A. Namoro, DepEd Makati Assistant Superintendent. The participants were ushered into the highlights of the search through the Beyond the Blackboard video presentation provided by the MBFI. The overall dynamics of the search was given through the testimonials shared by Allan B. de Guzman, Ph.D., NOTED President and 2011 SOT Awardee and Olivia E. Caling, NOTED Secretary and 2006 SOT Awardee. A musical rendition was given by the son of Dr. Serrano. Ms Genersol G. Monton, DepEd Makati Science Supervisor and 2004 SOT Awardee, served as the master of ceremonies. The campaign ended at 4:30 in the afternoon.

In support of the Metrobank Foundation’s effort to disseminate information on the annual Search For Outstanding Teachers (SOT), we are pleased to inform you that the Network of Outstanding Teachers and Educators (NOTED) had successfully organized and conducted an Information Campaign for the Division of Quezon City last January 29, 2015, from 2:00 to 4:30 pm at the Quezon City Science Interactive Center.

Through the endorsement of the City Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Helen Grace V. Go, a total of 8 public elementary school teachers, 21 public secondary school teachers, 3 private secondary school teachers and 11 principals representing the six districts in Quezon City attended the information campaign.

The information campaign started with a video presentation on the Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos and was followed by an invocation led by Olivia E. Caling, NOTED Secretary and 2006 SOT Awardee. The participants were gladly welcomed by Mr. Manuel Manalo, Director of the QC Science Interactive Center. Ms Dyan Tee, MBFI Senior Program Officer gave a message to the participants. The participants were ushered into the highlights of the search through the Beyond the Blackboard video presentation provided by the MBFI. The overall dynamics of the search was given through the testimonials shared by Allan B. de Guzman, Ph.D., NOTED President and 2011 SOT Awardee and Bonifacio D. Caculitan, Jr, NOTED Auditor and 2012 SOT Awardee. Ms Josephine M. Calamlam, NOTED Communications Officer and 1999 SOT Awardee, served as the master of ceremonies. The Open Forum was facilitated by Mr. Allan C. Reyes of the MBFI. The campaign ended at 4:30 in the afternoon.

In support of the Metrobank Foundation’s effort to disseminate information on the annual Search For Outstanding Teachers (SOT), we are pleased to inform you that the Network of Outstanding Teachers and Educators (NOTED) had successfully organized and conducted an Information Campaign for the Division of Pasig City last February 3, 2015, from 2:00 to 4:30 pm at the Division of Pasig Multipurpose Hall.

Through the endorsement of the City Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Aurora A. Franco, a total of 40 public elementary school teachers, 6 public secondary school teachers, 1 private secondary school teacher, 2 private school principals and 14 public school principals representing the five districts in Pasig City attended the information campaign.

The information campaign started with a video presentation on the Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos and was followed by an invocation led by Olivia E. Caling, NOTED Secretary and 2006 SOT Awardee. The participants were gladly welcomed by Dr. Aurora Franco, Schools Division Superintendent and Ms. Marivic R. Leano, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent. Mr. Bonifacio D. Caculitan Jr. NOTED Auditor and 2012 SOT Awardee gave a message to the participants on behalf of the Metrobank Foundation. The participants were ushered into the highlights of the search through the Beyond the Blackboard video presentation provided by the MBFI. The overall dynamics of the search was given through the testimonials shared by Allan B. de Guzman, Ph.D., NOTED President and 2011 SOT Awardee and Genersol G. Monton, 2004 SOT Awardee. Ms Olivia E. Caling, NOTED Secretary and 2006 SOT Awardee, served as the master of ceremonies. The Open Forum was facilitated by the NOTED Officers. The campaign ended at 4:30 in the afternoon.
